Behind the Scenes :: Chef Dynasty House of Fang Food Network Episode 1
Let’s take a look at my dining experience at Fang Restaurant in San Francisco, featured on the Food Network's newest show, Chef Dynasty. I was fortunate enough to try their special 6 course tasting menu highlighting some of their new signature appetizers, expertly prepared by Chef Kathy Fang, two time Chopped winner and dear friend of mine. The meal began with a savory Chinese Donut (油条) with marinated salmon and picked cucumbers. Next up were the flavorful curry croquettes, followed by the golden shrimp packets. But the dish that really stood out for me was the chili pork wonton - it was absolutely delicious and nostalgic of my childhood! The meal continued with a stuffed pepper with a tantalizing chingkiang glaze, and ended on a sweet note with the Sichuan chicken bao bun. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at Fang Restaurant, and I can't wait to come back for more of their delicious Chinese fusion cuisine. Follow along my Instagram and TikTok for my review!
